Viking Sunset Studios is looking for a talented and detail-oriented Offline Editor to join our creative team in Bali.

We are looking for an editor with strong storytelling instincts who can turn raw footage into compelling narratives while working closely with Directors, Producers, and the creative team.

Responsibilities

• Organize, review, and manage raw footage and audio materials.
• Create offline edits for films, and other video projects.
• Develop the story, pacing, rhythm, and overall flow of each project.
• Work closely with the Director and Producer to understand and execute the creative vision.
• Select the best takes, performances, and shots to build a strong narrative.
• Prepare rough cuts, fine cuts, and revisions based on creative feedback.
• Maintain an organized editing project and file structure.
• Ensure the final offline edit is properly prepared and delivered according to project requirements.
• Meet deadlines and manage multiple projects when required.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Film Editor, Offline Editor, or Video Editor.
• Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, continuity, and visual language.
• Experience editing films, commercials, music videos, or narrative content is highly preferred.
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro or other professional NLE software.
• Good understanding of post-production workflows and media management.
• Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively with Directors and Producers.
• Open to feedback and able to translate creative direction into effective edits.
• Able to work under deadlines and in a fast-paced production environment.
• Based in Bali or willing to relocate to Bali.
