Offset Machine Operator

About the role

The Offset Machine Operator is responsible for the safe, efficient, and accurate operation of assigned production machinery. The role ensures that all products are manufactured in accordance with approved specifications, quality standards, and production schedules. The position is also responsible for reviewing job orders, verifying production requirements, monitoring machine performance, maintaining production records, and supporting process improvement initiatives to achieve operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Review and verify job orders, specifications, and production requirements before machine setup and operation
• Operate assigned machinery safely, efficiently, and in accordance with established operating procedures
• Monitor machine performance and production output to maintain quality and efficiency standards
• Ensure all products conform strictly to approved specifications and quality standards
• Conduct regular inspections and monitoring of machine wear-and-tear parts and operational components
• Identify machine abnormalities and coordinate corrective actions or maintenance requirements as necessary
• Maintain accurate production logs, reports, and operational records
• Communicate production concerns, machine issues, and quality deviations promptly to supervisors
• Participate in process improvement initiatives aimed at improving productivity, quality, and operational effectiveness
• Follow all workplace safety policies, machine operating procedures, and production standards

About you

• At least a High School or Senior High School Graduate
• At least 1–2 years of experience in machine operation, manufacturing, or production environments
• Knowledgeable in machine operation, production processes, and quality control standards
• Ability to read and understand job orders, production specifications, and work instructions
• Basic mechanical aptitude with the ability to identify machine abnormalities and wear-and-tear issues
• Familiarity with production reporting and documentation
• Detail-oriented, organized, and quality-focused
• Physically fit and capable of working in a production environment
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively in a team environment
