OFFSET PRINTING ASSISTANT

About the role

We are seeking an Offset Printing Assistant to join Gorin Technical Industry (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd in our Pasir Gudang, Johor facility. This is a full-time position where you will support the offset printing operations, working primarily with Ryobi and RMGT printing equipment. As an Offset Printing Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our printing production line and maintaining the high quality standards our clients expect. This position offers hands-on experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment within the printing and publishing services sector.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the setup and operation of Ryobi and RMGT offset printing machines
• Prepare printing plates, inks and other materials required for print jobs in accordance with specifications
• Monitor print quality throughout the production process and identify any defects or inconsistencies
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of printing equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Assist with colour matching and ink adjustments to achieve desired print results
• Support the offset printing team in meeting production schedules and deadlines
• Follow all health and safety procedures and maintain a clean, organised work environment
• Assist with basic troubleshooting of equipment issues and report problems to supervisors

What we're looking for

• Previous experience working in an offset printing environment or with printing equipment (preferred)
• Familiarity with Ryobi and/or RMGT printing machines is highly desirable
• Strong attention to detail with an understanding of print quality standards
• Ability to follow technical instructions and standard operating procedures
• Good manual dexterity and physical capability to handle materials and equipment
• Reliable, punctual and committed to maintaining a safe working environment
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with colleagues
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills
• Willingness to learn and develop technical skills in offset printing operations
