Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Oficial de Control de Infecciones to join our healthcare team. Duties

• Develop, implement, and regularly update infection control policies aligned with national and international standards.
• Conduct routine inspections of clinical areas to ensure adherence to hygiene and sterilization protocols.
• Monitor infection rates and analyze data to identify trends or outbreaks promptly.
• Educate staff on best practices for hand hygiene, sterilization procedures, and use of personal protective equipment.
• Investigate infection incidents thoroughly, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with infection prevention measures during procedures and patient care.
• Maintain accurate records of infection control activities, audits, and training sessions for regulatory compliance.

• Strong knowledge of infection prevention standards, sterilization techniques, and epidemiology principles.
• Excellent analytical skills to interpret data related to infection trends and outbreaks.
• Effective communication skills for training staff and reporting findings clearly.
