Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Ofsted 16 Plus Registered Manager to lead and oversee the delivery of high-quality care within a specialized educational and supported living setting for young adults aged 16 and over. In this vital role, you will ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations, manage staff teams, and promote a safe, nurturing environment that supports the personal development and independence of young people. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement, foster positive relationships with stakeholders, and uphold the highest standards of care and education.

Duties

• Lead the day-to-day management of the 16 Plus provision, ensuring all activities meet Ofsted standards and regulatory requirements
• Develop, implement, and review personalized care plans that support each young person’s individual needs, including mental health, education, and life skills
• Supervise and mentor staff teams, promoting professional development through training in areas such as dementia care, Alzheimer's care, medication administration, and safeguarding
• Oversee the management of medication administration processes to ensure safety and compliance
• Conduct regular audits of care practices, health & safety protocols, and safeguarding procedures to maintain a secure environment
• Foster strong relationships with external agencies, families, educational providers, and local authorities to support holistic care delivery
• Ensure meticulous documentation of care activities, incident reports, progress notes, and compliance records for inspection readiness

Requirements

• Proven experience in supported living environments with a focus on young people
• Demonstrable leadership skills with previous supervising or management experience within a supported living setting
• Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations related to 16+ provision and safeguarding policies
• Knowledge of developing and implementing effective care plans tailored to individual needs
• Experience in managing medication administration safely in a regulated environment
• Excellent communication skills to lead teams effectively and build positive relationships with stakeholders
• Relevant qualifications in supported living for children and young people.

Pay: £39,000.00-£47,000.00 per year
