OJT/INTERN Electrical Engineer

We are looking for Electrical Engineering Interns/OJT who are eager to gain hands‑on experience in the electrical industry. Interns will be exposed to both technical and operational tasks, supporting ongoing projects in electrical systems, renewable energy (solar), and product applications. In addition, interns will gain minimal marketing exposure to understand how technical solutions are presented to clients and promoted in the market.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Support & Design Assistance

  • Assist in preparing electrical drawings, schematics, and layouts using AutoCAD or similar software.
  • Support in preparing Bills of Materials (BOM) and cost estimates for electrical projects.
  • Research and summarize standards (Philippine Electrical Code, IEC, DOE guidelines).

• Project & Operations Support

  • Help monitor inventory of electrical supplies and equipment.
  • Assist in procurement tasks such as supplier research and price comparison.
  • Support project tracking and documentation (task boards, Gantt charts).

• Field Exposure (Supervised)

  • Participate in site visits to observe installation of busduct systems, lighting fixtures, UPS, and solar systems.
  • Observe testing and commissioning activities under supervision.
  • Learn and apply basic site safety protocols.

• Sales & Client Support

  • Assist in preparing quotations and technical proposals.
  • Support client presentations with technical slides and diagrams.
  • Research and prepare answers to client FAQs about electrical products and solar solutions.

• Minimal Marketing Exposure

  • Help draft short captions or posts highlighting electrical and solar products.
  • Assist in preparing technical content for marketing materials (brochures, presentations).
  • Support documentation of project success stories for internal and external sharing.

• Research & Learning

  • Conduct case studies on renewable energy integration and smart electrical systems.
  • Perform competitive analysis of suppliers and products in the market.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for internal learning and development.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering program.
• Willing to undergo minimum required OJT hours as per school requirements.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems, AutoCAD, or related software is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, research, and documentation skills.
• Willing to learn, proactive, and able to work in a team environment.
