Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, ensuring all dishes meet quality and safety standards
• Serve food and beverages efficiently at catering events, maintaining excellent guest relations
• Set up and break down catering stations, including arranging tables, linens, and servingware
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, including dishwashing and sanitizing surfaces regularly
• Buss tables promptly during events to keep service areas tidy and organized
• Take orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, handling cash and card transactions with professionalism
• Support with dietary accommodations by following specific dietary guidelines and food safety protocols
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and address guest needs promptly
• Uphold food safety standards by handling food properly and adhering to hygiene regulations
• Assist with event logistics, including inventory management and transportation of supplies

Skills

• Proven experience in food service, restaurant work, or catering environments
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen safety practices
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS preferred
• Effective communication skills for interacting with guests and team members
• Experience with dishwashing, cleaning, bussing tables, and general kitchen duties
• Knowledge of dietary restrictions and food safety regulations
• Ability to work flexible hours on an on-call basis to support varying event schedules
