Duties

• Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and quality standards
• Assist with food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with food safety regulations
• Support kitchen operations by organizing ingredients, utensils, and equipment for quick access during busy periods
• Follow all safety protocols related to cooking, food handling, and sanitation practices
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including counters, appliances, and workstations throughout shifts
• Respond promptly to kitchen needs or guest requests as they arise during service times

Experience

• Prior food service experience in a restaurant or similar environment is required
• Familiarity with food preparation techniques and cooking methods
• Knowledge of proper food handling procedures and safety standards in the food industry (MAPAQ training an asset)
• Experience in meal preparation for diverse dietary needs is a plus
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and cleanliness

Pay: From $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4.0 – 24.0 per week
