On Call - Experienced Bartender

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently according to recipes and house standards
• Provide full-service guest support including taking orders, delivering drinks/food, clearing tables, and checking on guest satisfaction
• Deliver exceptional hospitality by creating a welcoming, engaging, and professional guest experience at all times
• Maintain expert knowledge of the menu, cocktails, spirits, beer, wine, and specials to confidently guide guest choices
• Upsell premium spirits, specialty cocktails, bottles, and add-ons to maximize sales while enhancing the guest experience
• Handle high-volume service while staying organized, attentive, and personable
• Accurately operate POS system, manage tabs, process payments, and handle cash responsibly
• Prepare bar for service including stocking liquor, garnishes, juices, ice, glassware, and bar tools
• Assist with opening and closing duties such as inventory checks, restocking, breakdown, and securing the bar area
• Maintain strict cleanliness and sanitation standards across bar, service stations, and guest areas throughout the shift
• Wash and polish glassware, wipe surfaces, and ensure workspaces remain clean and clutter-free
• Follow all alcohol safety procedures including checking IDs and responsible service practices
• Communicate clearly and proactively with managers, servers, bartenders, DJs, kitchen, and support staff to ensure smooth operations
• Support teammates during busy periods by assisting with service, running drinks, bussing, or resetting tables as needed
• Help maintain a positive, team-oriented work environment with professionalism and reliability

Skills

• Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during peak hours.
• Minimum 2 years of bartending experience
• Experience in a restaurant or bar setting is mandatory.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.

Base hourly: Minimum DC tipped wage rate ($12/hr) + 12.5% service charge from each check + additional tips

Pay: $24.68 - $27.24 per hour
