On-call Inventory Support Staff

About the role

Winyard Accounting Services is looking for On-Call Inventory Support Staff to assist with physical inventory counting and related field activities for client engagements in Kidapawan, Cotabato. This is a project-based, on-call position suitable for candidates with a background in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields, particularly those with experience in inventory counting, stock management, audit, or fieldwork.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct physical inventory counts at client locations
• Accurately count, record, and verify inventory items
• Assist in reconciling physical counts with inventory records or system data
• Identify and report discrepancies, damaged items, and other inventory concerns
• Perform recounts and verification procedures when necessary
• Complete inventory count sheets, reports, and other required documentation
• Follow established inventory procedures and client instructions
• Coordinate with team members to ensure accurate and efficient inventory counting
• Observe client site policies, procedures, and safety requirements
• Perform other related tasks as assigned

About you

• Graduate of BS Accountancy, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or other related courses
• Preferably with experience in physical inventory counting, stock management, warehouse operations, audit, or related fieldwork
• Familiarity with physical inventory count procedures is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and inventory-related tools or systems
• Experience with barcode scanners or inventory systems is an advantage
• Must have a valid and existing Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Certificate
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Able to follow instructions and established procedures
• Willing to work onsite in Kidapawan, Cotabato
• Willing to work flexible hours or extended shifts, depending on the inventory schedule
• Comfortable with fieldwork that may involve standing, walking, bending, and occasional lifting or moving of items
• Must be available for immediate start
• Must be willing and able to report to the assigned client site
