On-Call Server

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring proper processing of sales transactions
• Serve food, beverages, cocktails, and spirits with professionalism and knowledge of drink service standards
• Upsell menu items including wines, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and sales revenue
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
• Assist with food preparation, setup, and replenishment during busy periods or special events
• Manage cash handling accurately, process payments efficiently, and balance registers at the end of shifts

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings preferred
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
• Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume service periods
• Basic math skills for processing sales transactions and cash handling
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail recipes, and beverage service techniques
• Experience with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Culinary experience or kitchen background is a plus but not required
• Valid hospitality or food industry certifications where applicable
