WE ARE HIRING ON-CALL SUBSTITUTE ECE/ECEA

We are looking for a caring, responsible, and reliable On-Call Substitute ECE/ECEA to join our childcare team!

Position: On-Call Substitute ECE/ECEA
Employment Type: On-Call / Casual

Qualifications

• Valid BC ECE or ECEA certification
• Previous experience working in a childcare setting is an asset
• Passionate about working with and caring for young children
• Warm, caring, responsible, and dependable
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Flexible availability and willingness to work on an on-call basis
• Well-versed in BC Child Care Licensing Rules and Regulations and able to follow and maintain licensing requirements
• Valid First Aid/CPR certification
• Able to provide a Criminal Record Check

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, nurturing, and positive environment for children
• Support age-appropriate play, learning, and daily activities
• Ensure children’s health, safety, and well-being
• Assist with daily classroom routines and transitions
• Work collaboratively with educators and other staff members
• Provide classroom and childcare support when regular staff members are absent
• Follow all BC Child Care Licensing Regulations, centre policies, and procedures
