On-Call/Floater Concierge Security Guards - Toronto, ON (Weekend Availability NEEDED)

We are actively seeking On-Call/Floater Concierge Security Guards with weekend availability to work at our high-rise condominium sites in the Downtown Toronto area. The On-Call/Floater concierge security guards will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the property, residents, and visitors while providing excellent customer service. This role emphasizes maintaining a welcoming and secure environment, addressing any concerns professionally, and acting as a key point of contact for all residents and guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be the first point of contact for residents, guests, contractors, and deliveries—professional, courteous, proactive
• Perform access control: issue visitor/contractor passes, verify ID, prevent tailgating/piggybacking
• Conduct interior/exterior patrols; identify hazards and respond per post orders
• Monitor CCTV, fire panel/alarms, and access control systems
• Enforce site rules, the Trespass to Property Act (Ontario), and relevant by-laws
• Manage parcels, parking permits, and contractor access
• Complete accurate daily logs and incident reports while maintaining privacy & confidentiality

Requirements:

• Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence (required)
• CPR/First Aid Level C (required or willing to obtain promptly)
• High personal integrity and polished communication/customer service
• Strong situational awareness, problem-solving, and conflict resolution
• Able to multi-task, prioritize, and stand/walk for extended periods
• Reliable commute to downtown Toronto

Education / Experience:

• 3+ years concierge/condo security experience
• Hospitality/concierge training, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention
• Police Foundations / Law & Security studies (completed or in progress)
• Ontario Driver’s Licence (if a site requires vehicle access)

Special Certifications needed:

• Valid Ontario Security Licence
• First Aid & CPR Certificate Level C
• Comfortable accepting same-day or next-day assignments
• Reliable punctuality and readiness for evenings/overnights/weekends as needed
• Training provided and uniform per company policy
• Clear post orders, supportive leadership, and growth opportunities (lead, mobile, operations)

Pay: $18.10 per hour
