On-site Design Manager (contract)

Immediate openings on a rolling contract for a Design Manager to work on-site on a 1940s office refurbishment in Central London with subsequent projects in the pipeline.

Position:

Join this growing construction company as they expand their design team and portfolio of sectors. As design manager you will be working on-site leading the RIBA stages 4-5 delivery of this multi-million office refurbishment. Day to day this includes coordinating between the design and construction team, managing design risks and queries as they arise on-site and supporting the overall project programme.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced design manager or experienced technical architect who wants to make the move into design management. This role requires a competent and independent candidate to lead the design of the project through construction.

Candidate:

• Design manager or Architect with 2+ years PQE and proven experience with late stage on-site delivery.
• Proven competency in RIBA stages 4-5.
• Confident and assured in leading the design management on-site.
• Experience in working on large-scale commercial and residential projects.
• Preferably immediate availability.

Studio:

This respected development and construction company has been operating for decades working with both private and public clients across a range of sectors including: new-build mixed use schemes to conversion schemes, high rise and high end developments.
