On Site Engineer Tech

Summit Human Capital is seeking multiple Field Service Technicians to support an enterprise warehouse automation organization in Lockbourne, Ohio. This role focuses on maintaining, repairing, and commissioning automated material handling equipment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of technical service or maintenance experience; 5+ years preferred
• Strong mechanical, electrical, controls, OR metal fabrication/welding troubleshooting skills
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic diagnostic equipment
• Ability to identify equipment faults and perform component-level repairs
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving equipment issues
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Reliable work ethic and ability to adapt to changing priorities

Preferred:

• Experience with industrial equipment or automated material handling systems
• Familiarity with conveyors, pallet stacker cranes, robotics, or similar machinery
• Background in equipment commissioning, field service, or industrial maintenance

Responsibilities:

• Install, commission, maintain, repair, and upgrade automated material handling systems
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment
• Diagnose system faults and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical components
• Provide warranty, emergency, on-call, and remote technical support as needed
• Conduct equipment inspections, maintenance audits, and safety checks
• Restore equipment to operational status while minimizing downtime
• Train operators on equipment operation and routine maintenance

The hourly pay range for this position is $26-$30/Hr, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.
