On-Site Maintenance Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable, skilled, and proactive On-Site Maintenance Technician to join our property management team.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in multifamily property maintenance, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently while providing excellent service to residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to and complete resident maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and other building systems.
• Perform apartment turnovers and make-ready repairs to ensure units are ready for new residents.
• Conduct routine property inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain common areas, building equipment, and property facilities.
• Identify maintenance concerns and report major repairs to management.
• Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors as needed.
• Respond to emergency maintenance situations and participate in on-call rotations as required.
• Track and document completed work orders and maintenance activities.
• Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in apartment or multifamily property maintenance preferred.
• Strong knowledge of general plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repairs, and building maintenance.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues independently.
• Experience with apartment turnovers and preventive maintenance.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple maintenance requests.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to perform physical maintenance tasks, including lifting, bending, climbing ladders, and working outdoors.

Schedule & Compensation

• Full-time, on-site position.
• Monday through Friday, with occasional emergency or on-call availability as needed.
• Competitive hourly compensation based on qualifications and experience.
