Key Responsibilities

• Abstract oncology data from medical records with precision and accuracy
• Ensure compliance with registry standards and clinical quality measures
• Interpret clinical data using knowledge of oncology, anatomy, and physiology
• Maintain accurate data entry in registry systems and databases
• Apply ICD-10 and oncology coding standards appropriately
• Support data integrity and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

• RN (Registered Nurse) – required
• ODS or CTR certification (NCRA) –
• Minimum 2+ years of oncology data abstraction experience
• Experience in cancer registry (preferably ACOS-accredited program)
• Strong knowledge of oncology terminology, anatomy, and physiology
• Familiarity with ICD-10 coding guidelines (preferred)
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Compensation

• 💲 $45–$50 per hour equivalent (based on per-case productivity)
