Online A-Level Edexcel Maths Tutor

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate A-Level Edexcel Mathematics tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and helping students achieve their individual academic goals. This role involves working closely with A-Level students, providing tailored support in their studies and promoting a love for learning.

Duties

• Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions via Teams/Zoom.
• Assess students' strengths and weaknesses to develop personalised learning plans.
• Create engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles and needs.
• Monitor and evaluate student progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and necessary tutors regarding progress and areas for improvement.
• Offer support in exam preparation.
• Create a supportive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes student confidence and motivation.

Skills

• Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, with a strong understanding of educational principles.
• Experience working with children, demonstrating patience and adaptability to different learning needs.
• Knowledge of special education practices is an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective interaction with students and parents.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students while maintaining a structured learning environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Expected hours: 2.0 – 10.0 per week
