Online Consultation Doctor

The Online Consultation Doctor will be responsible for conducting online medical consultations, reviewing patient medical information, explaining suitable treatment options, and supporting patient conversion into treatment journeys at partner hospitals in India and other countries. The role involves working closely with the Patient Coordination Team to follow up on assigned leads, address patients’ medical queries, and facilitate referrals to AM Health Hub’s hospital partners.

Key Responsibilities

1. Online Medical Consultations

• Conduct online consultations with patients referred by the Patient Coordination Team.
• Review medical reports, medical history, and treatment requirements.
• Explain preliminary medical opinions and suitable treatment options within the scope of professional practice.
• Address patients’ medical queries and recommend further evaluation where necessary.

2. Patient Conversion and Follow-Up

• Engage with assigned patient leads and conduct consultations to understand their medical needs.
• Explain available treatment options and the benefits of seeking care through AM Health Hub’s partner hospitals.
• Follow up with patients after consultations to address concerns and support informed treatment decisions.
• Coordinate with Patient Coordinators to improve consultation-to-treatment conversion rates.

3. Hospital Referral and Treatment Coordination

• Refer and coordinate patients with partner hospitals in India and other countries, based on their medical needs.
• Liaise with hospital medical teams to obtain treatment opinions, cost estimates, and proposed treatment plans.
• Coordinate with Patient Coordinators regarding appointments, medical records, and treatment arrangements.
• Support patients throughout the referral process until their hospital visit or treatment journey is initiated.

4. Patient Relationship Management

• Build trust and maintain professional communication with patients and their families.
• Explain treatment processes, hospital options, and the next steps in the patient journey.
• Maintain regular follow-ups and ensure timely responses to patient queries.

5. Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain accurate consultation notes, patient records, follow-up updates, and referral status in the company CRM.
• Provide regular reports on consultations conducted, patient follow-ups, referrals, and conversion outcomes.
• Ensure patient confidentiality and comply with applicable medical, data protection, and telemedicine regulations.

Qualifications and Requirements

• MBBS or an equivalent recognized medical qualification, with valid registration and authorization to practise in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Experience in online consultations, telemedicine, patient counselling, or hospital coordination is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and patient counselling skills.
• Ability to explain medical information clearly and professionally.
• Good follow-up, coordination, and patient relationship management skills.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and digital consultation platforms is an advantage.
• Willingness to coordinate with hospitals and travel when required, subject to company requirements and applicable regulations.

• Number of online consultations completed.
• Timely follow-up of assigned patient leads.
• Consultation-to-treatment conversion rate.
• Number of successful hospital referrals.
• Patient satisfaction and quality of counselling.
• Accuracy of CRM records and reporting.
• Coordination efficiency with patient coordinators and partner hospitals.

Pay: From ₹20,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Kakkanad, Kochi, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• Relevant: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• MBBS or an equivalent recognized medical qualification (Required)
