About The SAT Scientist:

The SAT Scientist is a group of passionate online educators driven by our mission to create a love of learning by celebrating student success. We help students scoring in the 1300s improve to beyond 1500 on the SAT that opens up doors for colleges that previously were inaccessible to students. Our students are all driven by their own intrinsic motivation to succeed, and are diligent and motivated. Unlike other organizations, we only admit students who will be committed to the work and effort that our educators (like yourself!) assign to the students.

We are not a lecture hall. We are not a passive video course. We are a live, high-energy, relationship-driven program, and the teacher is the heartbeat of the student experience.

We are hiring two teachers who can walk into a virtual room every week and make students genuinely excited to be there.

As An SAT Math Teacher You Will Be Expected to:

• Deliver high-energy, supportive instruction tailored to individual student needs, ensuring active participation and continuous classroom engagement.
• Develop highly engaging and expertly crafted educational presentations, worksheets, and activities that deepen students expertise on the SAT.
• Inspire learners using an outcome-driven curriculum that instills academic confidence and drives score improvement.
• Exemplify professionalism and reliability by arriving punctually, communicating promptly, and maintaining rigorous accountability for coursework.
• Foster an inviting, safe, and positive virtual environment where students thrive.

What We Look For:

• Currently holding or actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree.
• A dynamic and self-assured group leader who can captivate a virtual classroom.
• Possess exceptional communication abilities, both spoken and written.
• Primarily available during weekday afternoon/evening hours. Tuesdays at 3:30 - 6:30 PM PST.
• Eagerness to teach in online settings.
• Ready to lead online whenever needed.
• Successfully complete a subject-matter qualification evaluation.
• Maintain a dependable computer setup with high-speed internet in a quiet workspace.

Pay: $26.12 - $31.46 per hour

Expected hours: 5.0 – 20.0 per week
