Online Sr Data Engineer - Remote

For our client, we are seeking a Online Sr Data Engineer - Remote to join the team of a leader in the Retail & Consumer Goods space.

This role will focus on building and enhancing data solutions that enable analytics, predictive modeling, and better decision-making across the organization.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify high-value opportunities, guide project execution, and improve the performance and quality of data pipelines and related systems.

The position also requires strong communication skills to translate technical insights into actionable recommendations for stakeholders.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $110,000 – $135,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal teams to identify and prioritize data-driven opportunities
• Guide project teams through project goals and workload distribution
• Develop efficient and quality-driven data solutions
• Communicate insights and recommendations to various stakeholders
• Research advancements in analytics and improve existing solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent relevant experience
• 5+ years of relevant work experience
• Experience in predictive modeling, data mining, and data analysis
• Proficiency in high-level programming languages, such as Python
• Familiarity with ETL jobs, automated CI/CD, and performance tuning of SQL queries
