Role Overview

We are hiring an Online Tutor to teach and support students remotely across a defined subject area. The role combines deep subject knowledge with strong pedagogy — helping students actually understand the material, not just pass the test.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one and small-group tutoring sessions over video

• Develop personalised lesson plans aligned to student goals

• Track student progress and adjust approaches based on data

• Communicate with parents and guardians on student progress where appropriate

• Maintain accurate session notes and student records

• Stay current on curriculum standards and exam formats in your subject area

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in your subject area or equivalent experience

• 2+ years of tutoring or teaching experience

• Strong subject expertise and ability to explain concepts clearly

• Comfort with video tutoring platforms and digital whiteboards

• Excellent written and verbal communication

• Patience and care for student outcomes
