The Role You Will Play

• The FileMaker Database Developer will design, build, and manage relational database structures and workflows using the Claris FileMaker Platform.
• This role maintains, enhances, and troubleshoots existing database solutions to ensure consistent performance and accuracy as well as build and maintain API integrations to connect FileMaker/Claris with third-party systems and services
• The FileMaker Database Developer is responsible for carefully reviewing, auditing, and validating data with a high degree of attention to detail to ensure database integrity at all times.
• This role is entrusted to maintain clean, well-organized, and meticulously documented data and code, adhering to database management best practices.
• In addition, the Developer must stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and best practices, including advances in AI and API-based integrations

Background Profile

• 2+ years of experience in Database Management, Design, and Programming including FileMaker
• Proficiency with API integrations and usage, including connecting systems such as FileMaker/Claris to third-party and AI-powered services (e.g., OpenAI, Claude, or similar APIs)
• Experience maintaining data integrity and accuracy across large relational databases, with a meticulous, detail-focused approach
• Familiarity to or hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools
