Onsite Procurement Executive

About the role

An Onsite Procurement Executive is responsible to develop the supply base and maximize the margin opportunity whilst working with the preferred supplier. He or she will be working with Service Centre to promote purchasing compliance and deliver improved profitability.

What you'll be doing

• Develop and manage efficient supplier relationships
• Implement and report strategic supplier management and development plans; negotiate with suppliers of 3rd party products and services
• Prepare monthly management reports to deadlines; develop and report KPIs
• Identify, plan and drive continuous improvement processes
• Manage and develop preferred Supplier Chain
• Assist in the development and production of the Preferred Sourcing Directory within set deadlines
• Responsible for health and safety and have a duty of care for others around and within working environment
• Working with customers to make sure they receive their goods on time and in the right condition
• Looking at ways to improve supply chain networks
• Preparing forecasts and inventories
• Liaise closely with back end office to facilitate and increase company’s sales volume and increase SOW
• Ensure compliance with H&S Responsibilities

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in sourcing and/or procurement roles, preferably within the industrial or manufacturing sector
• Strong administrative and organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to multitask
• Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and SAP (added advantage)
• A team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and achieve targets
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
