OOSH Service Coordinator

As the OOSH Service Coordinator, you will lead and support a dedicated team of educators to deliver high-quality, inclusive programs for children aged 5–12 years. You’ll oversee all aspects of service operations, including educational programming, compliance, staff leadership, administration and family engagement, while ensuring a safe, welcoming and enriching environment for every child.

This temporary full time position is based on a 35-hour week and includes the benefit of a nine-day fortnight, offering greater flexibility and work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor and support a team of OOSH educators
Coordinate the daily operations of Before School Care, After School Care and Vacation Care
Develop, implement and evaluate engaging educational programs aligned with the My Time, Our Place Framework
Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework, National Regulations and Child Safe Standards
Undertake the responsibilities of the Nominated Supervisor
Build strong relationships with children, families, schools and the wider community
Oversee administration, staffing, documentation and day-to-day service operations
Promote inclusive practices that support children of all abilities and backgrounds
Maintain a strong focus on workplace health and safety

What You’ll Need
Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or related qualification) or equivalent experience
Experience working within an Out of School Hours Care service
Strong leadership and team management skills
Sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework, National Regulations and My Time, Our Place
Understanding of the responsibilities of a Nominated Supervisor
Excellent communication, organisational and relationship-building skills
Current Working with Children requirements and ability to meet all pre-employment screening requirements, including:
National Police Check
ACECQA Prohibition Declaration
NQA ITS Prohibited Worker Check
National Child Safe Training
