Role & responsibilities
- Patient Registration: Collect and enter accurate demographic and personal details of patients arriving for outpatient visits. [
- Bill Generation: Create accurate invoices for doctor consultations, diagnostic tests (like lab work or X-rays), procedures, and pharmacy items using hospital software.
- Payment Processing: Collect payments via cash, credit/debit cards, UPI, or digital wallets, and issue official receipts.
- Insurance & TPA Coordination: Verify insurance coverage, eligibility, and pre-authorizations for patients utilizing corporate or cashless health insurance schemes.
- Query Resolution: Answer patient questions about specific charges, package costs, or payment modes in a clear and polite manner.
