OPD Billing executive

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Registration: Register new and returning outpatients, collecting accurate personal and demographic details in the system. [1, 2]
• Bill Generation: Create precise bills for doctor consultations, laboratory tests, radiology, and minor procedures using hospital software. [1, 2]
• Payment Collection: Accept and record payments via cash, credit/debit cards, UPI, and digital wallets. [1]
• Department Coordination: Communicate with reception, nursing, pharmacy, and diagnostic departments to verify service charges and resolve discrepancies. [1]
• Query Resolution: Answer patient or attendant questions regarding consultation fees, package costs, or itemized charges in a clear, friendly manner. [1, 2]
• Reconciliation & Reporting: Reconcile daily collections (cash, card, UPI) and prepare end-of-shift financial transaction reports. [1]
• Policy Compliance: Follow hospital rules regarding discounts, refunds, cancellations, and patient data confidentiality. [1, 2]

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Graduate in any discipline (Commerce, Accounting, or Hospital/Healthcare Administration preferred).
• Experience: 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in a hospital front office or billing environment.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Hospital Management Software (HMS/HMIS), Electronic Health Records (EHR), and MS Office
• Soft Skills: Strong communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills.
• Core Competencies: High attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and the ability to work under pressure in a busy clinic setting.

Pay: ₹10,013.78 - ₹22,651.61 per month
