OPD Billing Executive

• Register patients and verify patient details in the hospital billing system.
• Generate OP consultation and procedure bills accurately.
• Collect cash, card, UPI, and other authorized payments from patients.
• Issue receipts and maintain proper billing documentation.
• Coordinate with doctors, OP departments, pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, and other departments regarding billing requirements.
• Explain billing details and charges to patients and attendants clearly.
• Handle billing corrections, cancellations, refunds, and adjustments as per hospital policy.
• Maintain daily cash collection and billing reports.
• Ensure proper reconciliation of cash and digital payments at the end of each shift.
• Follow hospital policies, billing procedures, and financial controls.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and handle patient information responsibly.
• Resolve patient billing queries professionally and escalate issues when required.
• Support the Front Office team during busy OP hours.
