Position: OPD Manager
Department: Operations
Location: Hospital

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the OPD to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Supervise OPD executives, reception staff, telecallers, billing executives, dispatch staff, and financial counsellors.
• Monitor patient registration, appointments, billing, and consultation processes.
• Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, laboratory, radiology, pharmacy, and other departments for seamless patient care.
• Ensure minimal patient waiting time and resolve patient complaints promptly.
• Monitor OPD revenue, billing accuracy, and daily MIS reports.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, NABH standards, and quality protocols.
• Prepare duty rosters and monitor staff attendance and performance.
• Conduct staff training on patient service, communication, and hospital procedures.
• Coordinate with TPA, CGHS, corporate clients, and insurance teams for OPD-related services.
• Monitor patient feedback and implement service improvement initiatives.
• Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of OPD records.

Experience

• 510 years of experience in hospital OPD operations.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
