Responsibilities As the Open Pit Mining Engineering Manager, your role will be to design, optimize, and oversee all open-pit mining projects, from the preliminary study phase to production start-up.

Here Are Your Main Responsibilities

• Design and optimize open-pit mining projects, ensuring their operational efficiency and profitability;
• Supervise mining engineering from the preliminary study phase to production start-up, including detailed design and on-site monitoring;
• Lead a team of engineers and technicians, ensuring the quality of the projects and the safety of operations;
• Manage the processes for optimizing mineral resource extraction, with a focus on profitability and sustainability;
• Coordinate internal teams and external partners to ensure projects run smoothly, respecting timelines and budgets;
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards;
• Continuously monitor technological advancements to improve mining methods and tools;
• Actively contribute to the group's sustainable development strategy by optimizing mineral resources.

• Mastery of open-pit mining techniques;
• Proficiency in modeling tools (Surpac, Whittle, MineSched, Datamine);
• Project management skills;

Education & Experience

• Engineering degree in Mining or Geotechnical Engineering.
• Over 5 years of experience in open-pit mining engineering, with expertise in managing complex projects.
