Opening For Accounts Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Finance & Accounts Manager to manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial controls, vendor payments, reconciliations, statutory compliance, working capital activities and audit coordination. The role will work closely with the Finance, Purchase and Plant teams to ensure accurate, timely and compliant financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting transactions and ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Handle bank payments, receipts and bank reconciliations.
• Manage the complete Accounts Payable cycle, including invoice processing, vendor reconciliation, payment processing and query resolution.
• Ensure timely vendor payments as per agreed payment terms.
• Process and verify employee expense claims and manage petty cash.
• Prepare and maintain monthly prepaid and accrual schedules.
• Maintain the Fixed Asset Register and process depreciation entries.
• Monitor and reconcile inventory/stock balances on a monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and annual basis.
• Prepare and maintain documents and reports required for statutory compliances.
• Coordinate with auditors and provide required data and supporting documents.
• Handle day-to-day banking queries and transaction-related issues.
• Support Plant and Purchase teams on finance and accounting matters.
• Ensure compliance with internal financial controls, policies and approval processes.
• Monitor cash flow and support working capital and treasury activities.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and better utilization of ERP/accounting systems.
• Ensure timely resolution of vendor and finance-related queries.
• Perform other finance and accounting responsibilities as assigned.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of accounting and financial controls.
• Good knowledge of GST, TDS, PF, ESIC and Professional Tax.
• Strong experience in vendor and bank reconciliation.
• Knowledge of inventory and fixed asset accounting.
• Strong understanding of Accounts Payable processes.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/Tally/SAP.
• Good audit coordination and documentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong ownership, accountability and attention to detail.
• Team handling and process-oriented approach.

Qualification & Experience

Qualification:

• CA Inter / MBA Finance / M.Com / B.Com with strong relevant experience.

Experience:

• 12-15 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts.
• Minimum 35 years of experience in a supervisory/managerial role.
• Experience in a manufacturing and ERP environment preferred.
• Experience in ERP implementation/process improvement will be an added advantage.
