Openings For Mechanical Technician

Role & responsibilities

1. Knowledge of CGMP maintenance procedures.

2. Knowledge of pharma machineries of OSD facility, engineering aspects, spares and tools.

3. Understanding and following equipment maintenance SOPs.

4. Troubleshooting equipment faults.

5. Attending to breakdown of machineries and their rectification as per CGMP norms.

6. Carrying out preventive maintenance activities of machines as per schedule and checklist.

7. Routine lubrication of equipments as per schedule or as and when required.

8. Raising request for spares and tools for machineries.

9. Conduct periodic quality checks on equipment and systems to ensure everything is up to standard

10. Assisting with equipment installations.

11. Communication and coordination in utility (electrical, HVAC, compressor, boiler and water plant) maintenance activities.

12. Filling and Maintaining work logs, spares log, breakdown records or any other quantitative records for machineries/spares implemented in department based on improvement procedures.

13. Co-ordination and guidance for jobs carried out by external vendors.

14. Maintaining a clean and safe environment

15. Facility maintenance (like doors handles, locks, hinges etc)

16. To check and maintain critical spares and their stock inventory, and regular follow up for spare with Executive.

17. Spares receipt from stores, indent and other inter department document movements for signatures.

18. Consulting Department HOD for any difficulties in troubleshooting technical problems

19. Following work instructions given by HOD.

Preferred candidate profile

Education- ITI

Experience- 3 to 6 Years (Pharmaceutical Industry Only)
