Application Development and Maintenance

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy microservices-based applications on Kubernetes/OpenShift platforms
• Build and manage containerized applications using Docker/Podman
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
• Automate deployment, scaling, and management of applications in OpenShift environments
• Monitor and troubleshoot application performance, cluster health, and deployments
• Work with DevOps teams to implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Ansible
• Configure and manage OpenShift features like routes, builds, services, operators, and security policies
• Ensure application security, compliance, and best practices in cloud-native deployments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, testers, and cloud engineers
• Maintain documentation for systems, processes, and configurations

Location: Pune, BangaloreExperience: 5-10 yrs

Technical and Professional Requirements:

• Strong experience in Kubernetes (K8s) and Red Hat OpenShift
• Proficiency in container technologies (Docker, Podman)
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with scripting languages (Bash, Python, or Shell scripting)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and REST APIs
• Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Helm charts)
• Strong understanding of Linux/Unix systems
• Experience in monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
