We need a hands-on engineer who has migrated VMware workloads to Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization on bare-metal infrastructure, not only administered OCP clusters.

• Ansible automation for infrastructure/platform activities
• Argo CD / GitOps and Tekton or Jenkins pipelines
• RHACM multi-cluster management
• OVN-Kubernetes networking
• OpenShift upgrades, including EUS-to-EUS
• Red Hat OpenShift certification such as EX280

4. Profiles Vendors Should Not Submit

• Pure OCP administrator/support profiles with no migration delivery experience.
• Kubernetes-only profiles without Red Hat OpenShift and OpenShift Virtualization exposure.
• VMware administrators who have not worked on OpenShift or KubeVirt.
• Application migration profiles limited to containerization, with no VM migration or bare-metal cluster exposure.
• Profiles listing KubeVirt, MTV, bare metal or migration only as keywords without project-level responsibilities.
• Architect-only profiles without recent hands-on implementation or troubleshooting.

Important vendor instruction: The resume must clearly show the migration project, source VMware environment, target OpenShift Virtualization platform, candidate responsibilities and actual tools used.

1. How many submitted candidates have personally worked on VMware-to-OpenShift Virtualization migration?

2. Did the candidate migrate VMs using OpenShift Virtualization/KubeVirt, and can the resume demonstrate this?

3. Has the candidate built or supported OCP 4.x on bare metal using IPI or UPI?

4. What was the candidate responsible for during assessment, migration, cutover and post-migration support?

5. Which networking and storage components were used in the target environment?

6. Has the candidate performed migration troubleshooting, rollback planning or production cutover?

7. Is the experience hands-on and recent, or only governance/coordination?

8. Can the candidate explain one end-to-end migration scenario during screening?
