Role: OpenShift Platform Engineer

Job Description:

1·Administer, monitor, and maintain Red Hat OpenShift (OCP) clusters to ensure high

availability, performance, and reliability.

2 · Provision and manage OpenShift resources, including Projects, Namespaces, RBAC, Routes, Services, ConfigMaps, Secrets, and Persistent Volumes. · Perform cluster installation, upgrades, patching, certificate renewals, and routine platform maintenance activities. · Deploy and manage containerized applications using CI/CD and GitOps tools such as Jenkins, Argo CD, Helm, and Kustomize.

4 · Support application onboarding, migrations, and production deployments in collaboration with development, infrastructure, and security teams. · Participate in incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), change implementation, disaster recovery, and capacity planning. · Maintain technical documentation, operational runbooks, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). · Provide production and on-call support to ensure platform availability and timely resolution of critical incidents.

5 · Respond to production outages, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and restore services within agreed SLA timelines.
