What they need

  • Shape the target operating model for Master Trust
  • Agnostic location
  • 12 Month Max Term Contract

The opportunity to join our team

This is an opportunity to design and implement the target operating model for Master Trust, translating critical success measures into clear outcomes across governance, process, service and risk. You will help create a reliable, compliant and member-centred operating model by strengthening accountability, provider oversight, service continuity and the transition to target-state ways of working.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate critical success measures into a practical target operating model, including accountabilities, controls, service standards, decision rights and operational hand-offs.
  • Identify and support sustainable operating expense reduction opportunities.
  • Define and maintain end-to-end process, role and RACI documentation for internal teams and service providers.
  • Lead operating model design workshops to confirm current-state pain points, target-state requirements, dependencies and critical decisions.
  • Develop success measures and operational readiness criteria covering service continuity, member experience, risk and compliance controls, data quality, provider performance, issue escalation and benefits realisation.
  • Identify business impacts, capability gaps, resourcing needs, transition risks, training requirements, change activities and implementation sequencing.
  • Establish governance, cadence and reporting artefacts to track readiness, decisions, risks, dependencies, critical issues and outcomes.
  • Produce high-quality executive documentation, briefing materials and implementation artefacts to support decision-making, stakeholder alignment and handover to BAU teams.

What you will bring:

  • 10+ years’ experience in insurance within superannuation, including exposure to insurers and funds.
  • Demonstrated experience developing comprehensive business reporting that provides meaningful insights to business leaders.
  • Experience coaching, mentoring and supporting team members to perform at their best.
  • Strong presentation and stakeholder engagement experience across forums, boards and senior leadership groups.
  • The ability to translate complex operational requirements into clear, practical and sustainable ways of working.
  • A strong understanding of risk culture, provider oversight and regulatory expectations relevant to superannuation operations.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce or equivalent experience.
