Operating Partner

We are looking for an experienced, motivated Operating Partner to take the lead in running and growing a breakfast, coffee, and lunch restaurant in Southampton, NJ.

This is not a typical restaurant manager position. We are looking for someone who wants to take ownership of the day-to-day operation, build a great team, control costs, grow sales, and be rewarded directly for the success of the business.

The Operating Partner will receive a competitive base salary plus profit sharing, providing the opportunity to earn significantly more as the business grows.

What you’ll be responsible for:

• Oversee all daily restaurant operations
• Hire, train, schedule, and lead the staff
• Manage both front-of-house and kitchen operations
• Maintain excellent food, coffee, and customer-service standards
• Manage ordering, inventory, vendors, and food costs
• Control labor costs and scheduling
• Maintain cleanliness and food-safety standards
• Develop and improve breakfast and lunch offerings
• Help grow our coffee and beverage business
• Create specials, promotions, and new ideas to increase sales
• Build repeat business and a strong local customer base
• Monitor sales, expenses, waste, and overall profitability
• Work directly with ownership on larger business decisions

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has restaurant management or operating experience
• Understands breakfast/lunch or café operations
• Has experience managing employees and a kitchen
• Understands food cost, labor cost, inventory, and margins
• Is comfortable making decisions and solving problems independently
• Has strong customer-service and leadership skills
• Wants to grow a business—not simply work a management shift
• Coffee/espresso experience is a plus

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
