Operation & Account Assistant

About the role

GK Bio International Sdn Bhd is seeking an Operation & Account Assistant to join our dynamic team in Kota Damansara, Selangor. This full-time role will provide crucial support to our accounting operations, ensuring efficient and accurate financial management within the organisation.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting with daily accounting tasks such as data entry, invoicing, purchase order, record-keeping, and other related documents
• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timely processing of billing and payment related transactions
• Reconciling bank statements and maintaining accurate financial records
• Preparing financial reports and supporting documents as required on both physical and digital
• Providing administrative support to the accounting team
• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to resolve queries and ensure timely completion of tasks
• Adhering to company policies and procedures to maintain financial compliance
• Perform any other ad-hoc assignments or duties as assigned by the superior

What we're looking for

• Minimum 1 years of experience as an assistant accountant or in a similar role or Diploma in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail
• Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, experience with accounting software is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A team player with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
• Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations in the industry
• Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
