About the role

Inker Logistics Pte Ltd is seeking a dynamic Operation and Customer Service professional to join our team in Kampong Ubi, Central Region. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth operational workflows and delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will be the vital link between our logistics operations and our valued clients, ensuring that all customer inquiries are handled promptly and professionally whilst maintaining the efficiency of our day-to-day operations. This role is fundamental to our commitment to outstanding service delivery and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Handle customer inquiries and requests via phone, email, and other communication channels, providing timely and accurate responses
• Process and coordinate logistics documentation, including shipment tracking, invoicing, and order management
• Maintain and update operational records and databases to ensure accurate information flow across departments
• Support the coordination of shipments and deliveries, liaising between customers, drivers, and warehouse staff
• Monitor customer accounts and proactively address any service concerns or complaints
• Prepare reports on operational metrics and customer service performance
• Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling, filing, and data entry
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve operational issues and improve service delivery
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all customer interactions

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant, Operations Support or Customer Service Representative, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with logistics management systems or similar software
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation
• Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to providing high-quality service
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing business needs
• Relevant certifications in customer service or administrative management are preferred but not essential
