Operation & Logistics Admin Assistant

About the role

This role involves assisting in daily logistics and operation arrangements, coordinating shipments with customers, transporters, agents and internal departments, and managing shipping documentation for ocean freight and import/export operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in daily logistics and operation arrangements
• Coordinate and follow up on shipments with customers, transporters, agents and internal departments
• Monitor shipment status and provide timely updates
• Prepare and maintain shipping, transport and operational documents
• Assist with data entry, filing and general administrative duties
• Follow up on POD, DO and other supporting documents
• Assist in handling ocean freight / sea freight import and export shipments when required
• Liaise with shipping lines, forwarders or agents on shipment arrangements and documentation
• Perform other operational and administrative duties assigned by the Manager

About you

• SPM / Diploma in Logistics, Business Administration or related field
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• Experience in logistics, ocean freight or import/export shipments is an added advantage
• Basic knowledge of shipping documentation is an advantage
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Office
• Responsible, willing to learn and able to work independently
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
