Operation & Maintenance Technician

Experienced Operations & Maintenance Technician with strong expertise in electromechanical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems within rail and transit environments. Skilled in preventive and corrective maintenance, fault diagnosis, system recovery, OCC operations, and safety compliance . Proven ability to troubleshoot complex systems, ensure high fleet and infrastructure availability, and support reliable customer service while maintaining full compliance with Alstom EHS standards and the Alstom Zero Deviation Policy (AZDP).

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on rolling stock, wayside systems, and associated equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve faults using specialized electronic testing and diagnostic tools.
• Conduct inspections, repairs, adjustments, modifications, and system recovery activities.
• Support OCC operations , train availability, service restoration, and emergency response activities.
• Operate and utilize ATC, ATP, PDS, CCTV, communication systems, and Site Information Management Systems (SIMS) .
• Assist in developing maintenance procedures, schedules, technical documentation, and training materials.
• Ensure efficient execution of maintenance plans to maximize system reliability and reduce downtime.
• Maintain compliance with operating procedures, site rules, and maintenance standards.
• Monitor system performance and coordinate contingency actions during service disruptions.
• Perform power management activities through interaction with traction power and distribution systems.

Health, Safety & Environment (EHS)

• Comply with Alstom EHS requirements and the Alstom Zero Deviation Policy (AZDP) .
• Identify, assess, and mitigate operational and safety risks.
• Conduct safety inspections and promote a proactive safety culture.
• Report hazards, unsafe acts, and non-compliance issues while supporting corrective actions.
• Ensure safe work practices for all maintenance and operational activities.
