OPERATION & TECHNICAL ASSISTANT

Job Summary

Responsible for daily parking operations, customer assistance, project coordination, urgent repair, installation, equipment maintenance, basic technical support and site inspection to ensure the parking facility operates smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

·       Conduct regular inspections to ensure the parking area is always in good condition.

·       Report the current condition of the parking facility to the Operation Executive and management through the designated WhatsApp group and daily emails.

·       Report any serious issues at the parking facility to the supervisor or management, such as faulty lighting, machine breakdowns, damaged traffic cones, broken plastic chains, or any other issues related to the parking facility.

·       Perform sanitisation of all Amano machines according to the established schedule.

·       Ensure the parking area is clean and free from litter at all times.

·       Maintain the cleanliness of the parking area, office, parking equipment, signboards, directional signage, as well as the Main ID and Rate ID.

·       Check that all parking machines are functioning properly.

·       Assist with basic maintenance activities of the parking system whenever machine issues occur.

·       Assist customers at the entry lane to help reduce traffic congestion.

·       Assist customers experiencing difficulties obtaining parking tickets or entering the parking facility using the online parking system.

·       Serve customers in a polite, respectful, and professional manner using appropriate behaviour and communication.

·       Take full responsibility for handling customer enquiries, complaints, and assistance requests at the parking facility, ensuring excellent customer service from initial contact until the issue is fully resolved.

·       Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems.

·       conduct inspections and troubleshooting when technical issues occur.

·       perform routine checks and preventive maintenance.

·       assist senior technicians with technical tasks.

·       prepare and maintain work, maintenance, and repair reports

·       ensure equipment and systems are functioning properly

·       follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety regulations.

·       conduct testing after installation or repair work.

·       provide technical support to the team or customers when required.

·       maintain cleanliness and safety at the work area.

Requirements

·       Minimum SPM / SKM Level 1 or 2 / Certificate.

·       Technical qualification or Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronic, IT or related field is an added advantage.

·       Experience in technical, maintenance, parking operations or customer service is an advantage.

·       Basic troubleshooting and maintenance skills.

·       Good communication, customer service and problem-solving skills.

·       Basic computer skills.

·       Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.

·       Willing to travel to different parking sites when required.

·       Responsible, punctual, disciplined and able to work independently or as part of a team.
