Operation clerk (fleet)

About the role

This role involves managing and maintaining accurate records of all fleet vehicles, coordinating maintenance and repairs, processing fleet-related expenses, liaising with external vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain accurate records of all fleet vehicles, including registration, insurance, and maintenance schedules
• Coordinate and schedule vehicle maintenance, repairs, and inspections to ensure optimal fleet performance and compliance
• Process and track all fleet-related expenses, including fuel, maintenance, and tolls, and prepare reports for management
• Liaise with external vendors, suppliers, and service providers to negotiate contracts and ensure timely delivery of services
• Assist in the procurement and disposal of fleet vehicles, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations

About you

• Diploma in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with drivers, vendors, and management
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and data entry
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures and relevant regulations is a plus
