Operation Executive

Main Responsibilities

The Operations Executive will be responsible for managing the overall operations of the biscuit manufacturing factory, ensuring safe, efficient, and smooth production.

• Manage daily factory operations, including production, quality, maintenance, and logistics.
• Support the setup and commissioning of the new biscuit manufacturing facility.
• Plan and monitor production to ensure products are made on time, safely, and according to quality standards.
• Manage manpower, ingredients, packaging materials, and production equipment effectively.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, Halal, ISO, and food safety requirements.
• Work closely with QA, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Japan teams to achieve production targets.
• Lead, train, and develop production and factory teams to achieve good performance.
• Monitor production costs and identify ways to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
• Troubleshoot production, equipment, quality, and operational issues.
• Drive continuous improvement in productivity, product quality, safety, and cost.
• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and relevant authorities during the factory setup and operation.
• Ensure the factory operates in a safe, clean, and well-organised environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in food manufacturing or factory operations.
• Strong experience in production and people management.
• Good knowledge of food manufacturing processes, GMP, HACCP, Halal, and food safety requirements.
• Experience in setting up or commissioning a new factory or production line is an advantage.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement is an advantage.
• Familiar with ERP/production management systems and MS Office.
