Operation Executive

Reports to: Operation Director

Job Purpose:

To support the Operations Team in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the ship agency's operations in LETH business areas

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for ensuring a smooth operation for vessel transits
• Communicate effectively with clients & vessels to provide instructions, updates, and information on canal procedures.
• Manage clients’ account and produce relevant KPIs
• Ensure timely and successful service according to the different customer’s needs.
• Provide Cost Estimates prior to vessel arrival & coordinating with relevant departments
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of services
• Provide administrative support to the operations department, including filing, data entry, and documentation management
• Communicate proactively with all parties involved in transits call
• Timely updates into system where/when applicable in regards to vessels operations.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

ITE Nitec/ O Levels / Diploma/ Degree, preferably in Shipping Operations or Maritime Studies.

Minimum 2 years’ experience in the Maritime industry is an advantage.

Strong organizational and coordination skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge of relevant regulations and guidelines governing the shipping industry

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and other relevant software

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure

Willingness to work irregular hours and on weekends as required.
