Job Overview

Furious Travels is looking for a responsible and proactive Assistant Operations Manager – Car Rental to support the Operations Manager in managing the day-to-day activities of the car rental division. The role will involve coordinating vehicle availability, bookings, customer requirements, fleet maintenance, driver coordination, documentation, and overall operational activities to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.

The ideal candidate should have strong coordination and communication skills, an operational mindset, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities

The Assistant Operations Manager will assist in planning, coordinating, and supervising daily car rental operations to ensure timely and efficient execution of bookings and customer requirements. The role will involve monitoring vehicle availability and allocation, coordinating vehicle servicing and maintenance schedules, and ensuring that vehicles are maintained in proper working condition and meet company quality standards.

The candidate will coordinate with customers regarding bookings, rental agreements, pickup and drop requirements, vehicle availability, and other service-related requirements. They will also work closely with drivers and internal teams to ensure smooth execution of daily operations and timely delivery of services.

The role will require handling customer queries and complaints professionally, identifying operational issues, and taking appropriate corrective action to ensure customer satisfaction. The candidate will also be responsible for maintaining accurate operational records, rental documentation, vehicle-related information, and preparing regular reports for management review.

The Assistant Operations Manager will support the Operations Manager in achieving operational targets, improving service efficiency, controlling operational issues, and implementing processes that contribute to better fleet utilization and overall business performance.

Required Qualifications & Skills

The candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field and preferably have prior experience in car rental, fleet management, travel, transportation, logistics, or a similar operational role.

Strong communication, coordination, leadership, and customer-handling skills are essential for this position. The candidate should have a good understanding of vehicle rental operations, rental agreements, fleet coordination, and basic operational documentation.

The ideal candidate should be organized, responsible, and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, decision-making skills, and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines are expected.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
