Core Responsibilities

Operations & Workflow:
Oversee day-to-day operations, staff deployment, scheduling, and project execution.

Ensure adherence to internal organizational procedures, quality benchmarks, and statutory requirements.

Reporting & Administration:
Prepare operational reports, maintain documentation, and assist senior management with tracking key performance indicators (KPIs).

Team Guidance:
Support, train, and supervise junior staff or team members to meet service and productivity targets.

Problem-Solving:
Handle operational hiccups, client or customer inquiries, and workflow bottlenecks independently

Complete an internship in the operations department of a recognised company.

Gain project management and leadership experience by taking freelance jobs, volunteering for school organisations and events, or starting a small business.

Seek an entry-level job such as Operations Assistant or Operations Officer.

Consider completing relevant certificate programs, such as Management of Production and Operations.

Graduate with a bachelor degree in operations management, business administration, human resources, or another related field.
