Operation Executive - Retail

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Marketing & Operations Executive to support retail business expansion through market analysis, identification of potential store locations, and property negotiations. The ideal candidate should have strong market research, analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities

1. Market Research & Analysis

Conduct retail market research to identify business opportunities and potential growth areas.

Analyze market trends, customer demographics, competitor presence, and location viability.

Conduct market analysis with respect to sales performance and business potential.

Provide market insights to support strategic business decisions.

2. Retail Location Identification

Identify potential locations for new retail store openings based on market demand and business requirements.

Evaluate locations based on footfall, accessibility, visibility, competition, and commercial viability.

Conduct field visits to assess the suitability of prospective retail locations.

Prepare location assessment reports and recommendations for management review.

3. Property Sourcing & Negotiation

Identify suitable commercial properties for retail store expansion.

Coordinate with property owners, brokers, landlords, and real estate agents.

Negotiate rental terms, security deposits, lease conditions, and other commercial terms.

Follow up on property proposals and coordinate negotiations through to closure.

Maintain a database of potential properties and ongoing negotiations.

4. Business Development & Coordination

Coordinate with internal teams and management for new store expansion activities.

Monitor local market developments and identify opportunities to improve business presence.

Prepare reports on market research, property availability, and expansion opportunities.

Ensure timely follow-up and closure of assigned tasks.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in retail marketing, market research, business development, retail expansion, or property sourcing.

Strong knowledge of retail markets and commercial property identification.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Good analytical and decision-making abilities.

Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and report preparation.

Willingness to travel for market surveys and property visits.

Ability to work independently and achieve assigned targets.

Preferred Candidate Profile

A proactive professional with experience in retail market analysis, new store location identification, and commercial property negotiations, capable of supporting the organization's retail expansion plans.

Work Location: In person

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
