Operation Management Assistant (m/f/d)

The Corporation has invested in 56 terminals, including 49 container terminals, all over the world.

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Operation Management Assistant (m/f/d) to join our team at COSCO Shipping (Europe) in Hamburg.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reporting & Analysis: Collaborate with subsidiary companies to collect, consolidate, and analyze logistics and supply chain performance data. Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual reports and presentations for management and headquarters.
• Project Tracking & Coordination: Work closely with headquarters and subsidiary companies to support the development, implementation, and ongoing management of key Logistics & Supply Chain projects.
• Supply Chain Control Tower: Support the development and implementation of the company’s Supply Chain Control Tower and take responsibility for assigned tasks and activities throughout the process.
• Market Research & Analysis: Conduct market research and gather relevant logistics and supply chain intelligence from industry publications, third-party databases, and the COSCO Shipping Europe agency network. Analyze market trends and insights to support business development and strategic decision-making.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Excellent written and spoken English ; knowledge of Chinese is an advantage .
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office , particularly Excel . Experience with Power BI is an advantage.
• Previous experience in logistics, freight forwarding, shipping, or supply chain management is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and a high commitment to quality.
• A proactive mindset, strong analytical skills, and the ability to learn quickly.
• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
