Operation Manager (Client onboarding/KYC)

OPERATIONS MANAGER (CLIENT ONBOARDING/KYC)

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the client onboarding and KYC/CDD processes to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness in accordance with established SLAs.
• Review and act as the approver for account opening requests for all registered Customers.
• Oversee sanction screening and name screening processes to effectively mitigate money laundering risks.
• Ensure the team's daily operations strictly align with the company's AML/CFT policies as well as the laws and regulations of governing bodies (SEC and AMLO).
• Manage and execute periodic reviews and trigger event reviews within designated timeframes.
• Collaborate closely with the Compliance and Risk Management departments to update operational procedures in response to regulatory changes.
• Analyze pain points in the onboarding process and propose workflow improvements to create a more streamlined, rapid, and automated operation.
• Partner with the IT team to test, develop, and enhance client database systems and KYC platforms for maximum efficiency.
• Assist Head of Department in overseeing, directing, and supporting the daily activities of both the KYC and general Operations teams.
• Any ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration and finance or related fields.

• Minimum 7 years of working experiences in Securities (Broker) or Banking Industry.

• Knowledge securities services such as investment securities (Common stock, Bond etc.)

• In-depth understanding of Anti-Money Laundering and Combating the Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT) laws and relevant regulations in Thailand.

• Proficiency in English (both spoken and written)

• Good at Microsoft Office skills, especially word and excel.

• Time management skill and good problem solving skills.

• Able to work overtime and on weekends
